Brian Corr is an elected member of the Massachusetts Democratic State Committee and past chair of the Cambridge Democratic City Committee.

At the state level, Brian serves as Chair of the Bylaws Committee of Massachusetts Democratic State Committee, and as a member of the Affirmative Action & Outreach, Convention Site Selection, and Personnel Committees. Locally he served as Chair of the Cambridge Democratic City Committee from 2016 to 2019, after serving as an officer since 2009.

Brian was first involved in the party as an associate member of the Boston Ward 22 Democratic Committee in 1996, and has also been a delegate to the last twelve Democratic state conventions. In 2020, he worked as the lead volunteer organizer for Sen. Elizabeth Warren’s presidential campaign in Cambridge, working with a diverse team of volunteers to build the movement for big, structural change in our country, organizing and leading hundreds of canvass shifts in New Hampshire. In the last decade, Brian has been an active volunteer organizer for Sen. Ed Markey, Congresswomen Katherine Clark and Ayanna Pressley, Gov. Deval Patrick and President Obama, and over the last three decades he has volunteered with campaigns to elect Felix Arroyo, Jarrett Barrios, Mike Capuano, Pat Jehlen, John O’Connor, John Olver, Charlotte Golar Ritchie, and Warren Tolman.

A lifelong Democrat, I was elected in 2012 as an Affirmative Action Member of the Massachusetts Democratic State Committee for two terms. In 2020 I was elected to represent our district, which includes Charlestown, Chelsea, Everett, and the eastern half of Cambridge.
* I know how to bring people together to achieve common goals and make positive change.
* I’m a progressive activist and community-builder who’s lived in Cambridge for almost 20 years, and I’ve helped lead the Cambridge campaigns for Elizabeth Warren, Ed Markey, and Katherine Clark.
* I have real experience, including three years as Chair of the Cambridge Democratic City Committee from 2016 to 2019, and as an active member of the Democratic State Committee.
* I’ve also served as one of the Sergeants-at-Arms for multiple Democratic State Conventions, ensuring that elections are fair and every vote is counted! And in 2024, I was honored to be chosen to serve as chair of the Bylaws Subcommittee.
